Alexandra Smith is the Project Manager for Bioinformatics Training at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR). She holds a Master of Science in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor of Science in Plant Science from the University of Guelph.

Alexandra leads training initiatives for the Pan-Canadian Genome Library (PCGL) and is dedicated to developing impactful training resources for users in healthcare genomics. Her work focuses on building capacity in the Canadian genomics workforce and supporting the next generation of bioinformatics professionals.
